Brief introduction
PU sealing Rockwool panel is a non-combustible structural rock wool as the core material, with galvanized or aluminized zinc color coated steel plate as the finish, both ends of the polyurethane edge, through the professional development of adhesive, the two form an interaction composite of high quality and energy saving building board. It sets fire prevention, thermal insulation, noise insulation and beautiful decoration in one.
Material composition
1. Metal panel
- Outer material: Usually colored steel plate, galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel plate to provide structural strength and surface protection.
- Function: corrosion resistance, impact resistance, the surface can be customized coating (such as fluorocarbon paint) to enhance weather resistance.
2. Core material (rock wool)
- Composition: inorganic fiber made from high-temperature melting of basalt, with high density and stable structure.
- Characteristics: Class A non-combustible material, excellent fire performance, both thermal insulation and sound insulation function.
Polyurethane edge sealing
- Location: The edges around the sheet, filled by a high pressure foaming process.
- Function: seal the gap, block the cold bridge, improve the overall air tightness and moisture resistance.
4. Auxiliary materials
- Adhesive: High strength polyurethane adhesive to ensure that the core material is firmly bonded to the panel.
- Connection structure: concealed edging or mortise design for quick installation.

Rock wool core material reaches A1 level non-combustible standard, polyurethane edge adopts flame retardant formula (B1 level), the whole has passed GB 8624-2012 fire test, suitable for high-rise and densely populated places.
3. Efficient sound insulation and noise reduction
Rock wool porous structure can absorb medium and high frequency noise, with closed edge, air sound insulation capacity ≥30dB, suitable for airports, concert halls and other high demand scenes.
4. Waterproof and moisture-proof
Polyurethane sealing (groove and groove + adhesive strip seal) completely block water vapor penetration, rock wool core material by hydrophobic treatment (water absorption rate < 2%), suitable for high humidity environment (such as coastal, cold storage).
